Hello
STARSkate is Skate Canada’s figure skating development program for skaters who have completed CanSkate and/or the RisingSTAR program and are ready to pursue more advanced training in Skills, Ice Dance, Artistic, Synchro and Freeskate disciplines.

Each session ranges from 1-2hours and include a 15 minute club provided lesson (dependent on level). Skaters work through STAR 1 to Gold and beyond, developing strong technical foundations while exploring performance, choreography, and goal setting.

Coaching is delivered through a combination of group instruction and one-on-one lessons (arranged directly with your coach), with time built in for independent practice. Skaters have opportunities to participate in assessments, performance days, and competitions as they progress.

STARSkate encourages discipline, creativity, and personal growth - whether your skater is pursuing recreational goals or dreaming of higher-level competition.

Figure skates are required; helmets are not required. Coaching must be arranged directly with a coach of your choosing.
